Sunit Shrestha
Sunit graduated from one of the top universities in the country, Thammassat University, where he studied Economics. More recently, Sunit has been leading the Bangkok-based ChangeFusion headquarters where he is responsible for managing over 20 young adults all working under him towards positive social and environmental change.  Sunit has done extraordinary work towards helping launch various social innovations projects and continues to support social enterprises led by young adults in the South and East Asia region

Bal Joshi
Bal K. Joshi is the co-founder and managing director of Thamel.Com, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience operating trading businesses in Nepal and North America and expertise in business development, marketing, and business operations and systems development. Bal holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon USA. He is the recipient of the 2003 Tony Zeitoun Award in the category of “ICT and Poverty Reduction” for the story of Thamel Dot Com.

Ramesh Shrestha
Ramesh Shrestha, currently MD of PCP-Asia Limited in Bangkok (www.Thaiadvertising.com), advises on fundraising. He has taught English literature and linguistics at Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Thammasat University, Bangkok. Besides being a researcher, essayist, and journalist, he’s a poet writing both in Nepali and English (www.rameshshrestha.com). Ramesh has been with ChangeFusion Nepal since day first and has supported us in collecting funds and providing appropriate advice when necessary. He has played a pivotal role in linking us with our precious supporters and will continue to provide us with vital support in coming years.
Currently he lives in Bangkok and Kathmandu.

Lindsay Friedman
Lindsay, originally an academic phonetician in the University of Edinburgh, UK, has worked in Ghana, Nigeria, and Ethiopia and has spent considerable time in Nepal since the early 1970s. She has worked with different institutions in Nepal, including Tribhuwan University, the British Council, NGOs, and the European Union. In 2005, she wrote Conflict in Nepal, a Simplified Account.

Brooke Estin
After living in Thailand for 8 years, Brooke accepted an academic scholarship to attend university to study international relations in San Francisco and in England and moved back to the US. It was in San Francisco that Brooke discovered her passion for social business through her experiences in microfinance at Kiva.org. She moved back to Thailand in mid 2007 and has been working at the ChangeFusion headquarters since mid 2008.

Sagar

Sagar has worked for more than 10 years in engineering consulting firms in US, Canada and Nepal, ran e-commerce sites and contributed in various community service organizations, including NRN Association, SEBS-North America, Nepal-America Council, etc. He lead the team that won the 2003 Development Marketplace award for DokoDai project from the World Bank. He is the founding member of the Entrepreneurs For Nepal, which has over 2,800 members world-wide and conducts regular programs to mentor and build the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nepal. He is a believer in the power of entrepreneurship and plans to bring together community service and entrepreneurship together. He has master’s degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and divides his time between US, Canada and Nepal.

Ashutosh Tiwari
Early in his career, Ashutosh became a grassroots activist in rural far western Nepal in Dang, Bardiya, Kailali, Kanchanpur and Banke districts. For about 2 years, together with colleagues at Backward Society Education (BASE), he worked as a strategist on a social movement that led to the freedom of about 200,000 bonded agricultural Tharu labourers in July 2000. Convinced that for-profit businesses enabled the poor to take charge of their lives, from 2001 to 2007, he advised a range of small businesses in Nepal and Bangladesh as an employee of the German Technical Co-operation (GTZ), and of World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC).  In 2007, he joined Himalmedia as the CEO, where his tasks were to lead a workforce of 100+ employees, negotiate with politically-affiliated militant trade unions, and turn around the company, both operationally and financially. After successfully accomplishing his tasks at Himalmedia, he joined WaterAid in 2010 as its Nepal head. He is also a co-founder of Entrepreneurs for Nepal (E4N). E4N brings entrepreneurs together for monthly discussions, networking events, boot camps, advisory sessions and investment opportunities. In 2011, World Economic Forum honoured him as a Young Global Leader.
